About Us
We are located near Cherry Hill, NJ, across the Delaware River from
Philadelphia, PA.. Eleventh Step books opened for business in October of 1991. Today we
are the largest shop of this type in the Delaware Valley/tri-state area. In the beginning
we were known as a recovery shop. With the assistance of our customers and responding to
their requests, we have expanded into areas beyond addictions. We now carry titles
encompassing issues pertaining to life's difficulties, holistic health, Course in
Miracles, eating disorders and spiritual growth. Our book and audio selection is in
constant transition and growth.
We hope to bring the atmosphere and service from our shop to the
electronic age. We believe this can be attained by providing our customers with the
knowledge that their confidentiality is not only important to them, but to us. We
understand the sensitiveness of some of the topics covered in our books and tapes,
therefore our customer list is never loaned, rented or sold.
Our Philosophy
Provide quality products and service to our customers. Educate customers
through demonstration and knowledge of addictions and recovery. Our reputation relies on
excellent products, understanding, customer trust and satisfaction. Customers are the most
important part of our company and they deserve informed, understanding professionals to
serve their needs. Our company strongly believes in these ideals and utilizes only
excellent professionals who believe in this philosophy.
Our Objectives
- To sell a complete line of merchandise related to the recovery, self help
and personal growth. Including but not limited to alcoholism, drug abuse, co-dependency,
gambling and over eating.
- Provide a comfortable, non judgmental atmosphere, allowing customers the
freedom to browse leisurely through the many books and gift items in stock.
- To stock and sell merchandise of reliable quality and substance at fair
market value.
- Generate return business by being informative and understanding to
customers special needs.
